My Beginnings
I'm a husband, father or 2, lover of Christ, lover of life, and a dreamer!
I was born in Joplin, MO with music coursing my veins and songs pulsing with every heartbeat.
While in school, I learned various instruments including viola, drums, guitar, piano, bass guitar, trumpet, banjo, and was always involved in choir. I began touring with a Christian band throughout high school playing and speaking at true love waits rallies, disciple now events, Fellowship of Christian Athletes' meetings, and lead worship for various other events and camps.
I went to college as a music major and started as a session player for local studios. Soon after, I setup my own studio and began writing for, recording, and producing other bands and artists.

I quit my job and went to welding school.... I packed up all my belongings in a small car and took my pregnant wife and 1 year old daughter 30 hours west to
the San Francisco Bay!
I realized I'd never achieve my goals as an artist if I wasn't able to get away from my 9-5, so I quit my job and went to welding school. After 4.5 months of school, I got my first job two thousand miles away in California, so I packed up all my belongings in a small car and took my pregnant wife and 1 year old daughter 30 hours west to the San Francisco Bay!
That was 4 years ago! We are now a cozy family of 4 (one girl and one boy) living in a 40' box on wheels, traveling around the country welding and singing.
It blows my mind how faithful God has to been to my family and how strong and amazing my wife is to support and follow me wherever my crazy dream takes our family!

Inspiration
I write songs about my life- It's therapy for me you could say. In my opinion, there's no better way to express yourself than grab a notebook, pick up a guitar or sit at a piano and pour out your soul!
Every song I have tells a story about where I've been, my family, my Savior, what I am going through, and where I'm going. It sounds vain and self centered when I say it that way- lol- but it's the truth.
The songs of my heart range from my adoration of God, love for my wife, daughter, son, or trying to cope with how fragile life is. One thing is certain, you'll know what I'm feeling through my melodies, lyrics and voice.

Style and Sound
For years and years I wanted to form a band, but I couldn't find people that were as committed as I was, so I resigned to the fact that I wouldn't have one and bought a looping pedal.
I figured I'd at least be able to do shows with a little more than just my acoustic guitar that way. Since then, it's morphed into my "sound".
It's so fun being able to lay down percussive loops, and vocal loops to add more depth to my shows!
Since I'm a live looper, some would say I'm like Sheeran in my approach to songs, which I tend to agree with, but I was raised on artists like Rich Mullins, Steven Curtis Chapman, and Dave Crowder. I later was addicted to John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, One Republic and Taylor Swift. My style and sound is all of these artists mixed into one.
